Chapter Summaries

Kakashi offered Team 7 the chance to enter the Chunin Exams and warned them that the competition could be deadly. After Naruto and Sasuke showed their eagerness to participate, they encountered Kankuro and Temari, and Gaara singled out Chiya and Sasuke before leaving with a promise to meet them at the exam.

• Naruto declared that he would enter the exam to prove he would become Hokage, while Sasuke also intended to participate and Sakura worried about the danger.
