Lionhead was a little weaker, roughly on par with the young Hulk who had once been chased down and beaten by General Ross. They were both the sort who relied on strength and physical toughness to overpower their enemies.
He probably had some Beast Intuition too. He could sense that something was off around him, though he failed to notice the shrunken Daisy. In terms of vigilance alone, he was better than the Builders of the Superflow World. Of course, the Builders were scientists, while this guy was a warrior who had survived countless bloody battles. Comparing them was somewhat unfair.
The instant Daisy deactivated the Wasp suit, Lionhead immediately sat up. He moved with incredible speed. Without even looking, he pulled a javelin from beside the bed and hurled it toward Daisy.
Unfortunately, it struck nothing with a sharp clang.
Lionhead rose, prepared to fight, and called for help in one smooth sequence. But the moment his shout left his mouth, he found the scenery around him changing.
His somewhat gaudy, gold-toned room turned into green mountains and clear waters. He did not care about the mountains; the Negative Space was full of rocks, so they were nothing unusual. What stunned him was the water—the flowing stream.
To him, it was simply priceless.
From the day he was born until now, he had never seen living water. The rivers and waterfalls his ancestors spoke of had existed only in his dreams.
He might have been the leader of these hundred remnant races, more than ten million intelligent lives, but his actual life had been extremely difficult.
