Celestials were not lifeforms in the conventional sense. They had no concept of lifespan; even if they were cut down, they could be resurrected. But Planter was not a Child of Stars. Though he was weak in combat, he was still an adult Celestial. The energy required to resurrect him was so immense that even Daisy could not afford it. She never mentioned resurrection.
"Star Brand, please clear the way. We've gone over this matter several times already." After confirming for the fifteenth time that they would launch a campaign against Asgard, the Prosecutor was somewhat speechless. Daisy had been going back and forth, arguing with them here for half the day.
She was familiar with how Celestials operated. She began by reasoning with them. The Celestials clearly knew her purpose, yet bound by their rules, they still had to waste words with her.
"In the name of Star Brand, I request a reconsideration. Is Asgard guilty?" Ignoring the Prosecutor's irritation, she submitted her request to the Celestials according to procedure. Since they cared about procedure, then they would follow procedure. She would stall them while thinking of a solution.
"Asgard must be purified. These beings who provoked the Celestials must never be permitted to continue living in the universe." The Prosecutor made his analysis for the sixteenth time. The Judge beside him made the same choice as the previous fifteen times. He said, "Approved."
"In the name of Star Brand, I request a reconsideration. Will the operation against Asgard implicate Earthlings?"
The Prosecutor entered work mode and immediately resumed his calm, unruffled tone. "Insufficient conditions. Unable to determine."
Daisy sighed. If they were truly going to campaign against Asgard, she had no need to go through all this trouble to stop them. What the Celestials intended to destroy was
