Thanos was very satisfied with his prospective son-in-law's performance. He was far better than Star-Lord.

Star-Lord was just a good-for-nothing. Compared to him, Baldy was vastly superior in both status and courage.

After assigning everyone their tasks, Thanos stood up first. "I'll lure that guy over."

He made it sound easy, but in reality, it was an enormous challenge. Sometimes, the gap in strength could not be easily bridged even with intelligence. Luck was often needed.

"I'll go with you." Old Thor had not taken part in their planning and had been sitting off to the side drinking. Seeing Thanos about to act as bait, he offered to help as well.

"I'm going too."

"Count me in."

Stark and Doctor Strange spoke at the same time, and the four of them then looked toward Baldy.

Daisy had not asked him to lure the enemy. Baldy had finally recovered his wits by now, and he gave an awkward smile. "I... I can't fly?"

They felt that made sense and did not force him to go lure the enemy. They told him to wait quietly in the quarry for their return. Doctor Strange left behind spatial coordinates, then teleported away with the other four.

"You... why did you all... all leave??" Baldy was dumbfounded. What was with these guys leaving him alone in such a strange place?!

He looked nervously toward the sky, just as one of the Fates Witches lowered her head to look at him.

Their gazes met, and Baldy nearly jumped out of his skin.

This old witch was far too ugly. She was skin and bones, reeked of evil, and was looking at him like he was food! It was terrifying!

Baldy wanted to run, to hide somewhere far away, but this damned place was tiny—roughly the size
