"Fates Witches..." As Asgard's only reader, Loki possessed an exceptionally broad range of knowledge. He quickly identified the true identities of the three witches.
This time, no heavyweights were involved. The three witches acted as though they could not see him, floating in midair as they continued observing the dreamlike Fate's Mist.
Receiving no response, Loki did not get angry. Like Baldy before him, he circled the boundary of God's Quarry.
There was only a massive pit in the center and three old women floating in midair. Other than that, there was nothing.
An ancient prophecy said that all answers could be found here. The Loki who had held Mjolnir had also told him to venture into the depths of the quarry before drawing his last breath.
So the question was: the God of Lies deceived everyone. Would he deceive himself?
Unless he figured that out, he did not dare rashly enter the enormous pit at the center of the quarry.
Time moved extremely slowly in this unique space. Loki repeatedly weighed the pros and cons while searching carefully, trying to find some clues.
And sure enough, he really did find something.
He discovered some slightly dim bloodstains around the edge of the pit. He was the God of Deception, not the God of Murder, much less the God of Tracking. If it had been ordinary blood, he could have stared at it for a year and still found nothing unusual. But this was not an ordinary person's blood. It was Thor's blood.
Who knew Thor best these days? If Loki claimed second place, no one would dare claim first. Jane Foster and the rest had to step aside.
Thor could be chopped to pieces, hacked apart, or burned to ashes, and Loki would still recognize him at a glance.
