"You are very unique. The feeling you give me seems..." Loki weighed his words. He felt that Adam Warlock was far too out of place in this environment. He was too detached, too composed, as though he had been waiting here all along for this group of superheroes.
Loki no longer believed this was the Origin Universe. It seemed more like a space temporarily stitched together. It felt real—though the sensation had come out of nowhere, he could not shake the thought. And Adam felt very real as well, as though he came from the same place as Loki.
"That is unimportant, God of Lies of Asgard. Our goals are the same, aren't they?" A cold gleam flickered in Adam's golden hourglass eyes, carrying a faint, barely perceptible threat.
A mortal dared threaten him? Loki was not Thor, who would charge forward with an axe at the slightest provocation, even if a god had descended. He was rational. His instincts told him Adam was unusual and could not be classified by the usual distinctions between gods and mortals.
"You harbor secrets unknown to others... but you are not lying at the moment..." Loki used his divine authority to judge Adam's intentions. He only felt that he had been drawn into enormous trouble. The threads around him were tightening, leaving him very little room to maneuver.
Adam sneered and ignored him, turning to Supreme Captain and exchanging a few words with the others.
Though there were fewer superheroes present, their overall quality was undoubtedly much higher. A combination like Captain America and Doctor Strange was exceptionally formidable.
"There is a monster named Davandra. It has corrupted my authority and is madly devouring the beings of Soul World. I need your help," Adam said.
Those words were correct. There was nothing wrong
