Daisy closed her eyes and sensed the mysteries within the Amulet. In the East, they might say a real tiger had been sealed inside, but she felt it was more like the tiger's psychic imprint from before its death, copied into the Amulet at a special frequency.
Unfortunately, the Amulet was an inanimate object with no mind of its own. It could only crudely simulate that fragment of the tiger from before it had been copied.
Once she put on the Amulet, the enhanced strength was about on par with her current level.
Its speed was far inferior. Tigers were not known for their speed to begin with.
The same went for endurance. She did not feel the slightest boost. Daisy estimated that her own endurance was stronger than a tiger's.
Unlike those street-level heroes, she did not need stat boosts. What interested her more were the various ways of exerting force, running, and using muscles that came with the Amulet. Once she put it on, those skills felt as though she had always mastered them.
Short-distance acceleration, sudden changes in direction, clearing obstacles—using its unique running techniques, she could even ignore gravity and run along walls for a while.
The Amulet's only true ability was instinct—the instinct of a beast.
Daisy's ability to sense danger increased dramatically. By her estimate, it was probably somewhat weaker than Spider-Man's Spider-Sense and Wolverine's beastly senses.
The remaining benefit that was somewhat useful to her was reaction speed. A tiger's reactions were slightly faster than her own, which would be of some help in dodging bullets, sensing the frequency of surrounding vibrations, and long-range teleportation.
After turning it over and studying it for half a day, she found no further functions. In the end, her strength had already surpassed that of street-level heroes,
