"Oh? Then can you explain how your abilities improved? Let this old man learn a thing or two?" Ebony Maw completely ignored the murderous look on Proxima Midnight's face. His words were like a massive axe, cleaving apart the nonexistent camaraderie between them. He was practically calling Proxima Midnight a spy outright.

In this world, it wasn't bad things that people feared most, but bad people. Cull Obsidian had remained silent all along, but Ebony Maw had been far too active these past two days.

Desperately rubbing salt into the rift between the two, Ebony Maw had done everything a terrible teammate could possibly do. Even Daisy, watching from afar, could not help admiring him. This guy was truly insane.

Whenever Proxima Midnight spoke, he defended Ebony Maw. Whenever Ebony Maw lost his temper, he stood to the side and mocked him coldly. In short, he wanted the two to remain locked in fierce confrontation, leaving them no time to calm down and think.

The four of them spent an entire day discussing matters in an intense yet extremely hostile atmosphere. Proxima Midnight was the first to lead her troops back to the Darkhold. The suspicions hanging over her here were so great that even she had begun to doubt herself.

Cull Obsidian was the second to withdraw. Ebony Maw happily led his own troops away as well. Ebony Maw was left unable to hold things together alone, and in the end, he too led his men away from Barker Star in a sorry state.

A battle of this scale was not considered particularly intense. The Kree were accustomed to such things, and they had a complete set of post-battle procedures and regulations for clearing the battlefield.
