Watching Stark be led away in handcuffs once more, Pepper's tears still spilled uncontrollably.
"Is there anything we can do to help?" Captain America watched Stark being taken away and felt deeply for him. He wanted badly to do something, but he knew nothing about the laws of modern society, let alone how they operated behind the scenes.
In his fixed mindset, he probably still thought Stark would be serving time for the rest of his life.
Daisy couldn't exactly tell him that Stark would be released after only half a year in prison.
"Do you have any good ideas about Avengers Tower? I really don't understand the modern economic environment." After leaving through the courthouse's side entrance, Captain America brought up another matter.
Stark's arrest had affected every aspect of things. Avengers Tower was formerly Stark Tower.
When Stark had been in power, he could offer it to the Avengers as their living quarters and training base. But now that he was a criminal and Pepper had been forced out of management, that arrangement was now in question.
Management wanted to reclaim the tower, and Captain America had come to Daisy for advice.
Daisy hesitated, unsure how to explain it as she looked at Captain America asking her for help.
Fortunately, Pepper explained it for her. "Captain, if Stark Industries' management unanimously demands the return of the tower's usage rights, I'm afraid Daisy won't be able to help."
"I remember she's a shareholder. She should own quite a lot of shares, right?" Captain America was completely muddled. Modern corporate systems were simply too complicated.
"Daisy is a shareholder, that's true. But Stark Industries has rules stating that shareholders may not interfere with the group's daily operations. Shareholders only have the right to receive dividends. Shareholders..." Pepper rattled off more
