Pursuit

Daisy used the same phasing ability he found so familiar to evade the Energy Blast, rapidly closing the distance like a bolt of lightning tearing through the sky. The very next second after dodging the blast, she was standing on his silver surfboard.

"Oh?" Just as she was about to say something, the surfboard fiercely rejected her. Energy shot from it like a colossal pillar piercing heaven and earth.

The energy was incredibly abundant. Though it seemed somewhat mixed to her, there was simply too much of it.

She was just about to dodge when she realized something was wrong. The attack was angled downward. If it went off, it might strike the Atlantic Ocean, and triggering a tsunami would be disastrous. Her Star Brand estate was right by the coast...

Daisy raised her fist, judged the direction, and shattered the massive energy pillar with a direct punch. After exchanging two moves, both sides had roughly gauged each other's capabilities. She had no weaknesses, and her strength had been built bit by bit through training, so she held the overall advantage. The Silver Surfer, meanwhile, had poor control over his own energy and insufficient combat experience. Most importantly, he lacked the necessary means of attack.

A smile curled Daisy's lips. This time, she did not step on his surfboard. She teleported behind the Silver Surfer, reached out with her left hand, and grabbed for his neck.

The Silver Surfer rapidly retreated, widening the distance between them once more.

"You're no match for me." Daisy was extremely certain this time.

The Silver Surfer hesitated slightly. Then his surfboard tilted upward, carrying him away from the Atlantic Ocean in a streak of silver light. He soon broke through the atmosphere.
