Odin's Choice

The spear blade drove forward relentlessly. The inside of Galactus's body was no less solid than the massive armor covering his exterior, and the resistance was immense. Even Gungnir's incomparable sharpness was beginning to falter, a low, mournful whine rising from its blade. But streams of golden energy made up for the divine spear's losses.

"Don't?!" Daisy was shocked. Odin was pouring his divine power into the spear. That seemed detrimental to his upcoming transformation of life form, unless... unless he had no intention of transforming at all...

Receiving its master's full infusion of power, the spear blade became unstoppable. The instant Galactus's fist came swinging down, Gungnir blazed one final time with an incomparably dazzling golden radiance. Riding the total eruption of energy, the spear blade pierced Galactus's chest first.

It went straight through him. Golden blood sprayed everywhere, and the Planet Devourer, who had arrived with overwhelming force to devour Earth, was wounded.

This cosmic deity was enraged. Injured by an ant, he showed no more mercy and punched Odin's aged body.

The sound of shattering bones rang out with absolute clarity. Odin was sent flying dozens of light-years away by that punch. Fragments of his golden armor scattered everywhere, while the eight-legged warhorse let out a miserable neigh before turning into countless shards of light and vanishing into the void.

The tremendous force, combined with the earlier violent exertion, finally brought Gungnir to the end of its existence. The spear broke into three pieces at its center. The blade remained lodged inside Galactus, Odin tightly gripped the shaft, and the middle section turned into a streak of light that flew into the distance, where Daisy casually caught it.

Daisy looked at the wound Galactus had been pierced through. A massive amount of golden blood flowed from his
