Hela increased the rate at which she drained life force and shot upward, grabbing Baldy by the leg. She wanted to kill this troublesome fellow before going after Doctor Banner on the other side.

Baldy flailed in terror, trying to get Captain America and Doctor Banner to help him. Captain America wanted to help—very, very badly—but he was too far away. He did not understand how the Bifrost worked, nor did he know anything about spatial displacement. He could only watch anxiously, unable to save him.

Doctor Banner was a loyal friend. The next second, he transformed into the Hulk. Relying on his massive body, close proximity, and long arms, he raised a fist as large as a casserole and smashed it straight at Hela.

This sudden development startled Hela. The Hulk was no nobody. In a normal fight, she would not fear him; with her agile movements, dealing with such a lumbering brute was no challenge. But the space for maneuvering within the Bifrost was now extremely limited, which made things troublesome.
