Halfway there, another distinctly perceptible tremor shook the area. The Spider-Men had excellent balance, and not one of them made an embarrassing move like bracing themselves against a wall. Spider-Gwen took the lead, gripping the twin women's explosive flying daggers as she rushed back into the underground space.

By the time they returned, Daisy and the Master Weaver had already been fighting for ten minutes.

Eighty percent of the webs covering the underground space had been snapped by the vibrations. One of the Master Weaver's mechanical legs had been severed by the God-Slaying Sword, while Daisy was completely uninjured. Her stamina, however, was draining rapidly. Her face, once as bright as the morning glow, now held a faint pallor, and even the fragrant breaths slipping past her cherry lips came in quick gasps.

Smashing the table had worked. Without the webs, the Master Weaver could no longer use many of his methods. He had to regrow the webs, while Daisy continuously shook the surrounding space, searching for an opening.
