• Song Mingzhou agreed to stay with Duan Xun, learned from System 527 that he had to repair plot points, and began pushing back against Gu Yanting.
• Song Mingzhou joined the variety show, chose Duan Xun for an intimate challenge, and revealed on camera that he had spent the night at Duan Xun’s home.
• Song Mingzhou shared a room beside Duan Xun, kissed him to complete a mission, and joined Shen Qing for a mountain task where Shen fell into a ditch.

Song Mingzhou navigated schemes, online attacks, and his career troubles while growing closer to Duan Xun. By the end, he had left his old contract behind, publicly defended his feelings for Duan Xun, and begun to worry that his altered missions could change Duan Xun’s fate.

• Song Mingzhou accepted Cheng Xin’s offer to get Shen Qing alone, drugged Shen Qing at Gu Yanting’s dinner, and brought him to the room she had arranged.
• Song Mingzhou visited Duan Xun after the scheme, and Duan Xun comforted him, and later, leaked footage and online attacks prompted Song Mingzhou to post about how Gu Yanting and Shen Qing had treated him.
• Duan Xun visited the set, and Song Mingzhou’s jealousy over Shen Qing and a young crew member led him to kiss Duan Xun and confess that he loved him.
• Duan Xun arranged an audition for Song Mingzhou and told Director Han that they were in a relationship, while Song Mingzhou continued to defend himself against Shen Qing and Gu Yanting.
• Song Mingzhou confronted Lu Fenghai, found a new agent through Wang Cheng, and terminated his program contract by paying the penalty.
• Song Mingzhou told Chen Fei that he was dating Duan Xun, then went to Duan Xun’s home, where Duan Xun cared for him and kept him there to rest.
• Song Mingzhou learned from 527 that his missions had changed the storyline and worried that Duan Xun’s fate might change too, while Duan Xun told him not to think about leaving.
