Ch. 81Lighting a Candle for the Clear Sky Sect

After Bibi Dong helped Spirit Hall destroy the Clear Sky Sect in exchange for Yu Xiaogang’s continued survival, Qian Xunyi ordered Red Star to obliterate the sect’s mountain with a meteor shower. He then told Ning Fengzhi that the sects would be ranked anew, leaving the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect expected to attend.

  • Bibi Dong told the Clear Sky Sect prisoners she considered their lives a fair price for Yu Xiaogang’s right to survive five more years.
  • Qian Xunyi’s forces gathered across from Clear Sky Mountain, where Ning Fengzhi and Gu Rong remained because Qian Xunyi still held Ning Fengzhi’s Seven Treasure Glazed Pagoda.
  • Qian Xunyi ordered Red Star to light the final candle for the Clear Sky Sect, and Red Star used his ninth soul skill, Meteor Volcano, with Qian Xunyi’s enhancements.
  • Red Star’s magma fists fell like meteors, melting Clear Sky Mountain and reducing the remnants of the Clear Sky Sect to a sea of flames.
  • Qian Xunyi thanked Ning Fengzhi for lending his pagoda and summoned the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect to attend his planned new ranking of the soul master sects.
  • Ning Fengzhi agreed to attend and left with Gu Rong after Qian Xunyi dismissed him.

Ch. 83Spirit Hall Bullying

Qian Xunyi rewarded Spirit Hall’s elders for their victory over the Clear Sky Sect, strengthening Yue Guan, Gui Mei, Qing Zhang, Red Star, and Huang Mian. After Yue Guan and Gui Mei taunted Bibi Dong for being excluded, she decided to confront Qian Xunyi and claim the rewards she believed she had earned.

  • Qian Xunyi gave Yue Guan and Gui Mei Soul Pearls, which they fused into their ninth Soul Rings, gaining powerful new abilities and domains.

Ch. 84He Was Committing a Crime Even by Breathing

Yue Guan loudly corrected people who credited him with a Hundred-Thousand-Year Spirit Ring, while Bibi Dong discovered that Qian Xunyi treated her reward as permission for Yu Xiaogang to breathe freely and coerced her into another mission. Spirit Hall publicized the Clear Sky Sect’s destruction, and Tang Hao finally learned what Spirit Hall had been doing as he wandered with little A-San.

  • Yue Guan repeatedly asked people when he had told them his ninth Soul Ring was a Hundred-Thousand-Year Spirit Ring, embarrassing Gui Mei.
  • Bibi Dong asked Qian Xunyi for a reward, and he claimed her reward was five years of fresh air for Yu Xiaogang.
  • Bibi Dong refused Qian Xunyi’s mission, but he threatened to stop Yu Xiaogang from drinking water, so she accepted the dossier.

  • Tang Hao wandered with little A-San while waiting for Qian Daoliu to pursue him, then saw a Spirit Hall notice.

Ch. 85Warning You: Don't Ask for It

Ch. 86Gangzi's Sweet Dream Shattered

After Spirit Hall destroyed Clear Sky Sect, Tang Hao vowed revenge and believed Tang San could someday restore the dead, while Yu Xiaogang realized Bibi Dong’s role in the massacre had ruined his hopes of benefiting from both her and Tang San. In Spirit Hall’s prison, surviving Clear Sky Sect members blamed Tang Hao for their downfall, and Tang Xiao defended him.

  • Tang Hao mourned at Clear Sky Sect’s former site, blamed himself for its destruction, and vowed to collect the debt from Spirit Hall.
  • Tang Hao reasoned that Tang San could become a god and resurrect Clear Sky Sect’s dead, then left the ruins in a black cloak.
  • Yu Xiaogang read Spirit Hall’s announcement in Notting City and realized Bibi Dong had led the slaughter of Clear Sky Sect, making her future alliance with Tang San impossible.
  • Yu Xiaogang concluded that Bibi Dong could not defeat Tang San and cursed her for destroying his hopes of reaching the God Realm through her.
  • In Spirit Hall’s prison, Tang Lie and other Clear Sky Sect survivors blamed Tang Hao for provoking Spirit Hall, while Tang Xiao defended his younger brother.
  • Tang Lie challenged Tang Xiao’s defense of Tang Hao and accused him of loving the Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast who brought calamity to Clear Sky Sect.

Ch. 87I Still Have His Holiness the Pope

Ch. 88Evil Lord: Looks Like I Won the Bet

Tang Hao hid Ah Yin’s Seed of Life in a dark cave near Sacred Soul Village, believing it would preserve his plans for Tang San. After learning how Tang Hao had deceived and exploited her, Ah Yin turned against him and agreed to help Evil Lord, who said Qian Xunyi would take her away when the time was right.

  • Tang Hao settled Tang San in Sacred Soul Village, then hid Ah Yin’s Soul Bone and planted her Seed of Life in the Water Curtain Cave.
  • Tang Hao explained that he had chosen the cave because he wanted Tang San to awaken the Blue Silver Emperor in the Blue Silver Forest later.

  • Ah Yin confronted the truth about Tang Hao’s betrayal and asked Evil Lord to take her to the Blue Silver Forest so she could recover and help him oppose Tang Hao.
  • Evil Lord refused to move Ah Yin yet, saying Qian Xunyi wanted Tang Hao to remain in Sacred Soul Village, while Tang Hao continued visiting the cave and venting his grievances to her.

Ch. 89Father of Bu Le

After Dai Tianlong’s death deepened the conflict between Spirit Hall and the Star Luo Empire, Qian Xunyi sent Bu Kuaile to deliver demands designed to provoke Dai Tianfeng. Bu Kuaile accepted the dangerous mission after Qian Xunyi promised to raise his son Bu Le and arrange for him to inherit the Clear Sky Hammer.

Ch. 93Dai Tianfeng, Don't Fail to Appreciate Favors

  • Bu Kuaile demanded that Dai Tianfeng cede territory, pay ten million Gold Soul Coins, and open five cities to Spirit Hall’s free trade, while Ling Yuan subdued an officer who protested his insult to the emperor.
  • Bu Kuaile argued that Spirit Hall could defeat the Star Luo army by targeting its commanders and described Bibi Dong’s poison and Red Star’s attack on Clear Sky Mountain.
  • Dai Tianfeng and his officials saw the projected destruction of Clear Sky Mountain and recognized the danger posed by Spirit Hall’s powerful Soul Masters and Soul Master Legion.
  • Dai Tianfeng asked for time to consider the treaty, and Bu Kuaile gave him five days before the Pope would take something by force.
  • After Bu Kuaile departed, Dai Tianfeng ended court without making a decision, while the lamb in the hall’s pot had burned to charcoal.

  • Spirit Hall took control of Watercloud Pass, prompting protests across the Star Luo Empire, while Ning Fengzhi recognized that rival factions could not match Spirit Hall’s strength.
