After letting the cold wind blow on him for a while, Lei Luo suppressed his restless emotions and returned to the stone chamber.

"Besides, do you think I lack something like money?"

Hearing that, Little Fairy Doctor looked Lei Luo over, then pouted.

"Filthy rich bastard!"

Without continuing to bicker with her, Lei Luo turned all the corpses in the stone chamber into black ash before leaving the cave.

Back atop the cliff, Little Fairy Doctor still seemed a little shaken.

She nervously asked Lei Luo, "Now that Mu Li is dead, do you think Mu She of the Wolfhead Mercenary Group will find out anything?"

"He definitely will," Lei Luo replied without hesitation.

At that, Little Fairy Doctor's face changed. "It looks like we can't stay in Green Mountain Town anymore."

As she spoke, she lightly bit her red lip, looking somewhat aggrieved.

Seeing her like this, Lei Luo said casually, "Why can't we stay? Chop off the wolf's head, and there won't be any threat left."

Only then did Little Fairy Doctor realize that this man, who was not much older than herself, was a powerful Dou Master!

"Nothing. We just went to play some escape room games," Lei Luo said carelessly.

The crowd wore strange expressions upon hearing that and glared at him viciously.

Little Fairy Doctor beside him seemed to understand the hidden meaning in his words. Her little face flushed, but she did not speak.

Seeing her reaction, the mercenaries' expressions gradually became suggestive, each of them looking as though they had been cuckolded themselves.

However, to their surprise, two Wolfhead men had remained behind among the mercenaries.

"Little Fairy Doctor, where is our young leader? They clearly went out with you. Why haven't they returned?"

Hearing the two men's questioning, Lei Luo stepped in front of Little Fairy Doctor and said teasingly, "Your young leader is probably checking in down below by now. What, want to go keep him company?"

By the campfire, Little Fairy Doctor looked at the young man beside her and unconsciously smiled.

"So this is what it feels like to be protected," Little Fairy Doctor murmured softly, hugging her knees.

Meanwhile, Lei Luo stroked the Storage Ring on his finger as he considered what to do next.

There was no way the matter with the Wolfhead Mercenary Group could end peacefully.

After all, something this serious would naturally have been reported to Mu She by Mu Li first.

Once he left, Little Fairy Doctor would be in danger.

But it seemed Mu She moved even faster than Lei Luo had expected.

Around dawn, waves of noisy voices rose from the forest.

"Quick, search carefully! The young leader's signal came from this area. Report immediately if you find anything."

Hearing the faint voices nearby, the two in camp instantly woke up.

Little Fairy Doctor's pretty face turned pale, and she gripped Lei Luo's arm tightly with both hands.
