"Yao'er, you're here. Sit down first."

Xiao Yao pulled Xun'er over to sit on the other side. His gaze swept across the three unfamiliar people. Among them was an elderly man in a moon-white robe. The old man wore a smile and looked energetic, while occasional sharp glints flashed in his somewhat narrow eyes. Xiao Yao's gaze lowered slightly before stopping at the old man's chest, where a pale silver crescent moon was embroidered. Around it were seven glittering golden stars.

Beside the old man sat a young man and woman, both dressed in the same moon-white robes. The young man was around twenty years old. His handsome face and upright figure made him quite charming. More importantly, though, were the five golden stars embroidered on his chest, representing his strength: a Five-Star Dou Practitioner!

Xiao Yao noticed that the young man kept staring at the girl beside him, while she merely responded with a polite smile. It was obvious that she did not think much of him.

"Seven-Star Great Dou Master. This should be Ge Ye. Then the girl beside him must be Nalan Yanran."

Xiao Yao was slightly surprised. He had not expected that even his childhood experiences could not alter the gears of fate. What was meant to come would eventually come.

Xun'er casually glanced at the pampered young woman across from them. She shifted slightly and quietly said to Xiao Yao with a calm expression, "Brother Xiao Yao, do you know who those people are? Do you want Xun'er to secretly tell you?"

After hearing that, Xun'er nodded, a trace of realization flashing through her eyes. She curled her lips. "So that's how it is. I thought you didn't know her."

Just then, Xiao Yan walked in and greeted his father and the elders. When he saw Xiao Yao, he waved at him.

Xiao Yao waved him over as well. Seeing that, Xiao Yan walked over and sat beside him.

Xiao Yan looked at Nalan Yanran and Xun'er, then asked Xiao Yao, "Brother Yao, do you know who those people are? What are they doing here?"

Xiao Yao shook his head. "That girl is called Nalan Yanran. You've met her before too. I'm not sure why they came, but we'll find out soon enough."
