Lin Ying did not argue. She got into the car with Fu Jingyan and headed for the place Cai Yanyan had mentioned.
Fu Jingyan got in, fastened his seat belt, propped his chin on his hand, and said, "Cai Yanyan suddenly asked you out today. Do you think she might be plotting something?"
Lin Ying drove as she asked, "What could she be plotting?"
"What else could it be? She's trying to win you over," Fu Jingyan said.
Lin Ying raised her brows. "No way. We're just coworkers."
Fu Jingyan started counting on his fingers as he seriously analyzed the situation. "It was obvious at a glance that Cai Yanyan likes you. My sudden appearance must have given her a sense of crisis."
"What a coincidence. I'd barely arrived when her father somehow found information about those people from Sea City, and he specifically wanted you to come."
