The doctor looked at Huo Yeting and said sternly, "Sir, if you say something like that again, I'll call the police."
Huo Yeting clearly had yet to snap out of his domineering CEO persona. Just as he was about to say something, Song Shi'an interrupted him. "Doctor, please take a look at how this young lady is doing."
The doctor ignored Huo Yeting and focused on examining Chen Silan.
The longer he looked, the deeper his frown became. "The patient is severely malnourished, emotionally distressed, and two months pregnant. How have you been taking care of her?"
"What? She's pregnant?" Huo Yeting's expression darkened, his eyes filled with coldness.
"Her condition is extremely poor. Take her to the hospital immediately for a full examination," the doctor said. There were too many issues for him to diagnose and treat casually.
After giving his instructions, the doctor left.
Huo Yeting was about to take Chen Silan to the hospital.
Chen Silan slowly opened her eyes.
She happened to meet Huo Yeting's dark gaze.
"I'm sorry. I suddenly fainted," Chen Silan said softly, lowering her eyes.
Huo Yeting reached out and pinched her chin, his gaze sinister. "Speak! Whose child are you carrying?"
Chen Silan froze for a moment and murmured, "What child?"
"You're still playing dumb? The doctor said the baby is already two months along! I never touched you during those two months! You actually slept around and got pregnant with some bastard child!" Huo Yeting gritted out.
