The two arrived at the dining room.
The rowdy friends Fu Jingyan had called over earlier had all left.
Only Lu Tingting and Jiang Churan remained.
When Lu Tingting saw them come out, she raised a hand in greeting. "Brother, over here."
"Are you staying here tonight?" Seeing that she was still there, Lu Mingyu asked.
Lu Tingting nodded. "Yeah. Churan and I haven't seen each other in ages. We have so much to talk about."
Lu Mingyu glanced at Jiang Churan, who smiled. "Tingting and I have always been close since we were children. Now that I'm back, it's the perfect chance to catch up."
Only a fool would believe that.
When Jiang Churan went abroad, Lu Tingting had still been a clueless little toddler. How could they possibly have been close?
Seeing how delighted Lu Tingting was, Lu Mingyu could not be bothered to rain on her parade. He took Song Shi'an to sit down nearby.
Fu Jingyan had the chef serve the dishes, then went to sit beside Lu Mingyu.
He leaned closer to Lu Mingyu and explained himself. "Your sister said she wanted to stay and have fun, and Jiang Churan decided to stay too. It wouldn't have been right for me to chase her out."
Lu Mingyu showed no reaction, merely giving a low hum. "Mm."
Fu Jingyan had thought he would be upset. Looking at Jiang Churan, he seemed to suddenly think of something. "Mingyu, don't tell me you have feelings for Jiang Churan? Everyone out there says you two are childhood sweethearts. They say you keep no women around because you're saving yourself for her."
That finally got a reaction. Lu Mingyu shot him a glance. "Do you have a delusional disorder?"
Fu Jingyan withdrew his gossiping gaze.
He had already had enough
