Song Shi'an was completely baffled.
The room next door seemed to be his. Could Zhou Jianning have sent people over again, only for Lu Mingyu to catch them in a trap?
The thought secretly thrilled Song Shi'an. After washing up, he eagerly hurried over to Lu Mingyu.
The two went next door.
The door to the adjacent room was tightly shut and secured with a large lock. Six security guards and the hotel manager stood outside.
When the manager saw Lu Mingyu, he stepped forward respectfully. "President Lu, as instructed, we locked the room. Shall we open it now?"
Lu Mingyu nodded.
The hotel manager unlocked the door and opened it. The people inside immediately tried to rush out.
The guards had already been prepared and promptly restrained them.
Standing behind Lu Mingyu, Song Shi'an saw two tall, heavily built men with vicious-looking faces.
The men struggled twice after being subdued, but the guards were stronger. Two guards held down each man, leaving them unable to move.
The hotel manager's expression turned extremely ugly when he saw them. "Who are you? Why are you in this room?"
Seeing so many people, the two men could not help panicking. "W-We're guests staying here. We just entered the wrong room."
The hotel manager sneered. "You entered the wrong room and still used a key card? Tell me who sent you, or I'll hand you over to the police."
The two instantly fell silent and stopped trying to argue.
Judging by how they were dressed, they were probably local thugs. They clearly were not afraid of going to the police station.
The guards searched the room and brought out quite a few things.
