He was confident, but not so arrogant that he believed he could take on the entire Sirius Empire alone. That would be no different from courting death.
"If they don't come, what am I supposed to do about my Kill Points? I can't just sit around and exhaust my resources, can I? How long would I have to wait?" Lin Ming muttered to himself in frustration, his voice carrying a trace of helplessness and irritation.
His words were clearly heard by a stern-faced middle-aged general in silver-white armor who had just climbed up from below the city wall.

When he saw Lin Ming, dressed in the drab, inconspicuous uniform of the Firearms Battalion, standing on the city wall and spouting nonsense about "what if they don't come" and "what about Kill Points," his face darkened, and anger and contempt flashed through his eyes.
"What battalion are you from? What nonsense are you talking about here?!"
The middle-aged general strode up to Lin Ming. His gaze was sharp as lightning as he sized him up, his voice filled with undisguised rebuke and disgust.
"What? Are you eager for war? Isn't it a good thing that the Sirius Empire is not attacking right now? Do you know how many people we lost in the last great battle? How many families were torn apart, how many elderly parents had to bury their
