Originally, Sephiroth had planned to find some time to personally investigate the patterns of the Knock-Up Streams in the waters around Jaya Island. Once he had made sufficient preparations, he would head to Sky Island Skypiea...
To that end, he had put considerable effort into studying navigation. With his current level of skill, he could easily serve as a navigator on any ship!
But now... after feeding the Door-Door Fruit to Butcher Blade, he no longer needed to go through all that trouble!
