After quickly loading explosive shells into the cannons, the Marine soldiers in the warship's hold lit the fuses.

The bombardment continued without pause.
The cannons roared as explosive shells tore through the air with piercing shrieks and smashed into the sea, blasting the pirates fleeing in every direction across the water into bloody pieces. Severed limbs scattered everywhere, blood dyed vast stretches of seawater red, and cries of agony rang out endlessly.
"Gunners, continue firing at will. Riflemen, watch the waters around the warship and prevent the enemy from swimming over..."
Standing on the warship's deck, Frank calmly and skillfully directed the soldiers aboard as they carried out a brutal extermination of the pirates.
Although Sephiroth had just cut apart five large ships with a single slash, essentially robbing the enemy of their long-range striking capability, not many members of those pirate crews had actually died. They were still a considerable fighting force!
Ever since Frank had begun serving under Sephiroth, Sephiroth had always been the main source of offensive power on the battlefield, while soldiers like them were basically responsible for cleanup afterward.
Thus, after receiving Sephiroth's orders, Frank obediently began directing the warship to clear the battlefield rather than overestimating himself and rushing to support Hanasu Island.
A crimson line tore through the void, and a Spatial Gate silently opened. Sephiroth emerged from Hanasu Island's giant crater, Butcher Blade in his right hand and Queen's obese corpse dragging from his left hand, before stepping onto the warship's deck.
