"This rainbow ice cream cake tastes really good!"
Perona picked up a spoon with her right hand, scooped a bite from the piece of ice cream cake in front of her, and gently chewed it.
Orange, blue, red, yellow, green, purple, and cyan—seven distinct layers of color stacked atop one another. Each layer had a different fruity flavor, complex and ever-changing, leaving the girl slightly intoxicated by the taste.
Sephiroth, who was reading a newspaper, glanced at the small plate in front of Perona that had already been emptied—it had held an ice cream cake...
So, he could only remind her:
"Don't eat too much dessert before the meal.

The bearded soldier swept his gaze across the restaurant
