Alabasta Kingdom, royal mausoleum.
A Spatial Gate opened, and Sephiroth stepped out from the world beyond it with the Butcher Blade in hand. Nico Robin followed close behind as the two arrived at the royal tomb's sacrificial plaza in the Alabasta Kingdom.
Sephiroth then casually slashed at the stone floor, cutting open a Spatial Gate in the ground, and led Nico Robin straight down through it.
Before long, the two arrived in a magnificent underground palace, only to be blocked by a massive stone door.
After casually activating the lighting mechanisms on both sides, Sephiroth reached out and pushed open the enormous stone door.
A huge blue cubic stele covered in mysterious writing immediately came into view.
The moment Nico Robin saw the Poneglyph, delight instantly appeared on her face. She hurried over and began reading the words carved upon it.
The Poneglyph—this was what she had been searching for all these years!
She wanted to use it to uncover the history of the Void Century hidden by the World Government, to fulfill both her own wish and the wishes of Ohara's scholars.
However...
Once Nico Robin clearly saw what was recorded on it, the smile gradually faded from her face, replaced by profound disappointment.
As Sephiroth sheathed the Butcher Blade, he asked:
"This Poneglyph says that Pluton is hidden in Wano Country, right?"
Upon hearing that, Nico Robin's expression shifted several times before she said in astonishment:
"You can read Ancient Text too?"
Sephiroth shook his head. Rather than pretending to understand, he chose to tell the truth:
"I don't understand Ancient Text. I just happen to know what is recorded on this stone tablet!"
Hearing this, Nico Robin leaned against the Poneglyph and spoke in a strangely despondent, wistful tone:
"Is that so? I suppose that makes sense.
