"Achoo! Achoo! ..."
A cold wind swept past. Bonney, drenched from head to toe as Sephiroth held her in his hand, sneezed several times in a row. Her body trembled nonstop, like a soaked kitten that had been fished out of the water and was shivering from the cold.
Seeing this, Sephiroth had no choice but to spread his Black Wings and flap them hard a few times, carrying Bonney into the air and swiftly flying from the outskirts of the island into its town.
During this time, the surrounding temperature rose dramatically, climbing from twenty below zero in the depths of winter to a springlike twenty or thirty degrees. Bonney's body gradually warmed up, and she no longer felt cold.
All of this was thanks to the island climate control system designed by the genius scientist Vegapunk, which had transformed the entire island from a winter island into a spring island.
After the two entered the island, a bizarre sight full of childlike wonder and science-fiction flair appeared before them.
Fish of all shapes and sizes swam and played through the sky. Amid the clusters of futuristic buildings on the ground stood two enormous figures—a snarling dragon and a gigantic robot—facing each other in a confrontation, with a battle on the verge of breaking out.
The next moment.
The dragon and robot clashed, fighting fiercely without restraint. Yet they caused no damage whatsoever to the surrounding buildings. Whenever their bodies touched a building, they simply passed straight through it.
The pedestrians on the streets, however, acted as though they were used to it and found nothing strange about it.
"Huh!? That's so weird! Those two are clearly fighting so intensely, but they aren't destroying anything... What's going on?" Bonney asked in surprise.
