Lightning flashed and thunder roared across the pitch-black heavens from time to time as torrential rain poured down.
Several enormous tornadoes connected sea and sky amid the surging waves, their howls sending chills down the spine.
Violent currents in the sky battered the ocean's surface, raising endless waves!
Within those tornadoes and their eyes, five ships struggled relentlessly, locked in a fierce contest against the natural disaster.
Four of them flew black skull flags, while the remaining vessel was a warship flying a white seagull flag.
Boom! Boom! Boom!...
Amid the raging wind and rain, the four pirate ships opened fire on the warship from four different directions.
Shuzo immediately grew anxious at the sight and shouted, "Teacher Zephyr, we've been surrounded!"
"What are you panicking for? Hold steady. Return fire from both flanks. Leave the ship ahead to me. You go guard the rear of the warship..."
With that, Zephyr leaped into the air and used Geppo to dash toward a large sailing ship ahead. Shuzo gritted his teeth and hurried to the rear of the warship, beginning to intercept the cannonballs fired by the pirate ships...

Unfortunately, the four pirate ships spotted this warship on their way to Paldia Island and launched an attack.
On deck, the Military Academy students also picked up their weapons and took positions along both sides of the warship, their expressions grim as they looked toward the two pirate ships charging straight at them.
Dozens of pirates stood aboard each of those ships, grinning viciously as they waved their swords, looking utterly ferocious.
