Guys, I'm taking the day off.
I just have to complain—the temperature suddenly dropped by more than ten degrees in this awful weather, and the difference between day and night was ridiculously huge.
My daughter and I caught colds at the same time. I was doing a little better and could tough it out myself, but she couldn't. She came down with a fever, was admitted to the hospital, and put on an IV drip.
I don't know if indigestion was part of it, but she kept getting fevers in the middle of the night. I only slept seven hours over the past three days, and this afternoon my watch measured my heart rate at nearly 130.
Maybe because I hadn't been sleeping well, after holding on for three days, I felt like I couldn't take it anymore, so I went to get some medicine too.
After getting my medicine, I took her for a nebulizer treatment this morning. She needed it twice a day, so I took her again tonight. We just got home...
Sigh...
