Eight massive, ancient stone pillars stood in a ring, as though this place had once been the site of some special barrier formation laid down in ancient times.

Perhaps due to the passage of time, its exact appearance could no longer be made out. But judging from its silhouette alone, it appeared to depict a man clad in heavy armor.
He held a massive sword in one hand and a thick shield in the other.

Sirfetch'd, following beside Xia Yan, looked at the statue before glancing at the scallion lance and leaf shield in its own hands.
It lightly nudged Kubfu beside it with an elbow.

It did its best to puff out its chest, striking a pose that said, "I'm very brave."

Kubfu nodded repeatedly at the sight.
Come to think of it, Big Bro Ducky really did look like him.
"Quack quack—(See?)" Sirfetch'd looked thoroughly pleased after gaining Kubfu's approval.
Ever since it had formed a friendly relationship with Zapdos last time, Sirfetch'd had become increasingly confident.
