"You worked hard, Aerodactyl. You did very well."
Red recalled Aerodactyl and sincerely thanked it.
Although Aerodactyl had lost its clash against Xia Yan's Latios, it had shown its effort and determination. Being able to fight a true Legendary Pokémon to such an extent was already exceptional.
The Poké Ball in Red's hand shook slightly.
Aerodactyl's powerful physique had already allowed it to wake from its unconsciousness.
It simply felt somewhat sorry for failing to live up to Red's expectations after losing to Latios.
Seemingly sensing Aerodactyl's emotions, Red smiled gently. "For the rest, trust your companions."

He returned the Poké Ball to his waist and looked toward Latios, which had suffered some effects as well but still looked heroic and imposing.
Without the slightest hesitation, Red threw another Poké Ball.
"I'm counting on you, Blastoise!"
"Blastoise—!!"
The Blastoise that appeared threw open its arms and roared at the sky. Its bellow shook the entire arena, making everyone feel as though a surging torrent had burst from its body and swept out in every direction.
Looking at Blastoise's sturdy, heavy shell and thinking of its reassuring strength, Red regained the confidence he had possessed at the beginning.
With a sweep of his arm.
"Blastoise, Hydro Pump!"
It was using a finishing move right from the start again?
Red's battle style today was exceptionally violent. If they covered up the faces of the Trainers and Pokémon, people who did not know better might have thought Lance was battling Xia Yan.
"Blastoise!!"
Despite its broad and heavy appearance, Blastoise was not slow at all. As it lowered its body slightly, the two cannons it raised began gathering torrential yet condensed water. Amid the rushing sounds, countless droplets splashed out, creating brilliant rainbows beneath the arena lights.
Boom!!!
