Kenji's face was full of anxiety, panic in his eyes. It seemed the two Sato brothers had a pretty good relationship, without any so-called struggle for inheritance.

Xia Yan supported Kenji by the shoulder and led him to a seat in the club lobby.
"Anna, could you please bring us two glasses of water?" he called to Anna at the front desk.

Anna took two glasses of water from behind the counter and brought them over to Xia Yan and Kenji.
As she approached, Xia Yan's nose twitched. An extremely rich scent of high-end perfume drifted into his nostrils. It was intense and fragrant, yet not at all overpowering.
He gave Anna a somewhat surprised glance. Was the club's average salary really that high?
A receptionist could afford such expensive perfume?

Xia Yan thanked her and accepted the glass.

Anna answered brightly, then returned to the counter and propped up her head. She quietly watched Xia Yan and Kenji, while the corner of her eye followed the people coming and going through the club. Her willow-leaf brows slowly furrowed, and a faint glimmer flashed deep in her eyes.
Kenji drained the entire glass in one gulp, wiped the corner of his mouth, and finally seemed to catch his breath.
Only when he saw that Kenji could speak properly did Xia Yan ask seriously, "Your older brother disappeared? Tell me exactly what happened."
