Opelucid City.

This city had an incredibly distinct dividing line.

On the eastern side, the streets were paved with asphalt, the architecture leaned toward modernity, and all sorts of lights adorned the buildings, giving it a highly advanced, futuristic sci-fi feel.

On the western side, there were more trees, the roads were paved with uneven stone slabs, and most of the buildings favored classical styles, with stone reliefs decorating their walls, carrying an old-fashioned elegance.

This was one of Opelucid City's greatest characteristics: it blended classical and sci-fi styles within a single city.

At the center of the dividing line stood Opelucid City's Gym, a famous Dragon-type Gym known far and wide.

Just as Xia Yan had carved Dialga and Palkia onto his own Gym, two dragons had also been carved onto the Opelucid Gym, their colors sharply distinct.

They were the white dragon Reshiram, facing the classical western side, and the black dragon Zekrom, facing the futuristic eastern side.

They were also the two most powerful Dragon-type Pokémon in Unova Region's legends of heroes.

Xia Yan stood outside the Opelucid Gym.

Looking at the enormous Gym situated at the heart of Opelucid City, it was undoubtedly several times larger than his own.

People continuously entered and exited through the Gym's doors. Some emerged with joy on their faces, while others could not hide their disappointment.
