Nature and Function

Attributes

Wood Attribute

• Mu Chen’s original physique possesses the Wood Attribute. 2
• It provides a degree of defense and improves Dou Qi recovery, though its offensive capability is comparatively weak. 2
• Mu Chen can form a nearly solid green Dou Qi Veil and reinforce it with Wood Hardening for defense. 315

Fire Attribute

• Mu Chen awakens the Fire Attribute after devouring the Xuan Huang Flame, a Heavenly Flame ranked twenty-third. 2
• Fire Attribute Dou Qi is highly destructive and receives an added power bonus when used with Heavenfire Judgment. 27
• Xuan Huang Flame tempers and purifies Mu Chen’s Dou Qi, converting unstable energy into exceptionally pure liquid Dou Qi during his Dou Master breakthrough. 13

Poison Attribute

• Mu Chen awakens the Poison Attribute after Origin Space absorbs and refines the poison qi forced into his body by Jun Chenxi. 30

Origin Qi Manipulation Art

• The Origin Qi Manipulation Art is an Earth-tier Low-Grade technique that opens Origin Space at the center of the user’s Qi Cyclone. 2
• Origin Space separates absorbed energy into attribute-specific subspaces, purifies it, and converts it into Dou Qi matching the user’s awakened attributes. 2
• The technique can absorb energy of every attribute without restriction from the user’s natural physique. 2
• Absorbing sufficient energy of a particular attribute allows its user to awaken that attribute and switch among awakened attributes freely. 2
• The technique is exclusive to its host. 2

Fire-Attribute Space

• Xuan Huang Flame energy is stored in Mu Chen’s Fire-Attribute Space and can be released gradually for cultivation. 13

Flame Origin Seed and Origin Flame Talisman

• Absorbing enough Fire Attribute energy produces a Flame Origin Seed within the Fire-Attribute Space. 13
• The seed improves affinity with Fire Attribute energy, increases Fire Attribute Dou Skill power, and accelerates the conversion of Fire Attribute energy into Dou Qi. 13
• After absorbing Companion Purple Crystal Source, the seed becomes the Origin Flame Talisman, which subdues both the Purple Flame and Xuan Huang Flame. 43

Dou Qi Applications and Limits

Attribute Switching

• Mu Chen can switch his Dou Qi from Wood to Fire during battle. 315
• After absorbing the residual soul force within Purple Cloud Wings, he can divide his focus and wield two attributes of Dou Qi simultaneously. 315

Dou Skill Activation

• Blazing Prairie Hundredfold Slashes uses Fire Attribute Dou Qi to project short-range flames or strengthen close-quarters combat. 3
• Wood Spirit Slash uses Dou Qi and a sword seal to release three consecutive Wood Spirit Sword Waves; its third strike can rival an Earth-tier Dou Skill through accumulated momentum. 64
• Heavenfire Judgment gathers ambient energy into a fire diagram and launches powerful fire meteors at a designated target. 27

Strain and Consumption

• Projecting Heavenly Flame externally at Six-Star Dou Zhe consumes roughly one-third of Mu Chen’s Dou Qi in a single attack. 7
• Heavenfire Judgment demands extremely pure Dou Qi and a sufficiently strong body; forcing its use can cause shattered tendons and bones or death. 27
• Using Heavenfire Judgment twice in one day causes accumulated resonance shock to disrupt Mu Chen’s blood and qi. 60

Recovery

• Qi-Replenishing Pills can restore depleted Dou Qi and are rapidly converted by the Origin Qi Manipulation Art. 15
• Blue Heart Pills restore thirty percent of expended Dou Qi within three breaths, though their effectiveness is greatly reduced above the Dou Wang realm. 27
