Just as Xiao Yan was feeling pleased with himself, his body suddenly sank. The Demon Wolf had leaped behind him, its sharp claws relentlessly attacking him. What was more, it opened its bloody jaws and bit at Xiao Yan's neck. Luckily, the broad black greatsword on his back blocked its jaws.

Xiao Yan twisted sideways and slammed into the Demon Wolf with an Iron Mountain Lean, sending it flying backward. He then punched it in the head. The Demon Wolf let out a miserable cry, its body shuddering as Xiao Yan's punch sent it flying away.

After Xiao Yan had beaten the Demon Wolf half to death, the Flame Hound opened its mouth and spat another scorching stream of fire at him.

"Again? Damn it, you think you're the only one who can attack from range?"

Seeing the vile hound hiding at a distance and launching sneak attacks, Xiao Yan was thoroughly disgusted. Enraged, he thrust both hands forward, sending a fierce burst of force from his palms toward the hound.

"Cloud-Discharging Palm!"

Boom! The hound was struck by Xiao Yan's force and sent flying backward.

The Rock-Armored Giant Elephant had somehow gotten back on its feet and rammed Xiao Yan away. Fortunately, its two tusks had been blocked by the black greatsword on his back. Otherwise, wouldn't his body have gained two bloody holes?

"Damn it! You're asking for death!" Xiao Yan roared as he charged toward the Rock-Armored Giant Elephant.

Looking down, he saw that it was a Giant Lizard. It had clamped tightly onto his thigh and was continuously injecting venom into his body.

Terrified, Xiao Yan immediately drew the greatsword from his back and chopped down at the Giant Lizard's head. Only after taking the heavy blow did it release its bite on Xiao Yan.

Seeing the Giant Lizard release him, Xiao Yan swung his greatsword again at the Ice Serpent. Though the Ice Serpent was hurt, it still remained tightly coiled around Xiao Yan's legs, hissing continuously.

The attack had failed to produce any effect, and the Giant Lizard was preparing to attack Xiao Yan again. Not only that, the magical beasts Xiao Yan had defeated earlier were also gradually closing in on him.

Xiao Yan's vision was gradually blurring from the poison. At this critical moment, he could no longer care about anything else. He desperately swung his greatsword, repeatedly smashing it against the Ice Serpent's body.

Taking advantage of the Ice Serpent binding Xiao Yan, the Demon Wolf leaped onto his back again, slashing relentlessly at him with its sharp claws. The Flame Hound also grew bolder and bit down on Xiao Yan's left leg, refusing to let go.

Seeing that Xiao Yan could not move, the Giant Lizard bit into his right leg again and injected more venom into his body.

The Rock-Armored Giant Elephant also roared and charged in front of Xiao Yan. Its thick trunk wrapped around Xiao Yan's arms, locking him down tightly.

Xiao Yan's hands and feet were all restrained, while the poison in his body continued to accumulate from the Giant Lizard's injections. His consciousness gradually blurred, his eyelids grew heavier, and the light in his eyes slowly faded.

The spine was the elephant's weakest point, and Xiao Yan's strike was powerful and heavy, directly crushing its backbone inward. The Rock-Armored Giant Elephant immediately let out a miserable howl and collapsed to the ground, its massive body unable to move again.

The Flame Hound had fled far away the instant Xiao Yan's aura erupted, intending to find another chance for a sneak attack. But how could Xiao Yan possibly give it such an opportunity? He crossed his hands, curled his palms, and a powerful suction force instantly formed within them.

After dealing with three magical beasts in one breath, Xiao Yan let out a light sigh. Then his gaze turned toward the remaining two magical beasts.

Seeing how fierce Xiao Yan was, the Ice Serpent and the Giant Lizard immediately turned and fled in terror.

But how could Xiao Yan let them escape? It was these two magical beasts that had put him in such danger and left him in such a miserable state. He had nearly died.

Xiao Yan caught up to the Ice Serpent first and used his greatsword to chop it into eight pieces. Only after the Ice Serpent was dead beyond all doubt did Xiao Yan spare it.

After killing the Ice Serpent, Xiao Yan went after the fleeing Giant Lizard. When the Giant Lizard saw Xiao Yan catch up, it ran even faster.

Xiao Yan smiled faintly, put away his greatsword, crossed his hands, and pulled toward the Giant Lizard. Its enormous body flew backward toward Xiao Yan.

Xiao Yan grabbed the Giant Lizard by the tail, lifted it up, and viciously slammed it into the ground. The impact blasted a deep crater into the earth. The Giant Lizard was smashed senseless and continuously let out miserable hisses.

Seeing that the Giant Lizard could still make sounds, Xiao Yan lifted it again with both hands and repeatedly smashed it into the ground. More and more craters appeared in the earth until the Giant Lizard could no longer make a sound. Only then did Xiao Yan stop.

Xiao Yan looked at the Giant Lizard lying on the ground, barely breathing. He walked to its head, pressed both hands against its jaws, and exerted force.
