After hearing him out, Hashirama nodded. "Then keep at it. Train hard in Impure World Reincarnation, master it as soon as possible, and develop a true Resurrection Technique."
"I'll talk to Madara some more and see if I can persuade him to dig out his Rinnegan."
"I'm sure he has a way. It's just a question of whether he wants to."
At that, Hashirama looked at Xunjing again. "Right, can I tell Madara about the Otsutsuki Clan? Give him a sense of urgency, put some pressure on him?"
"Don't worry, I won't say much-just where the Otsutsuki Clan came from, and that they'll attack us in the future."
"I won't touch on any of your secrets. Is that all right?"
That would give him a better chance of persuading Madara Uchiha to help, perhaps even improving Madara's opinion of Xunjing enough for him to accept a contract.
Hashirama couldn't bear to leave a top-tier fighter like Madara unused.
If Xunjing could contract Madara, then quickly develop a Resurrection Technique, or have Madara recover his Rinnegan...
The handful of them might soon be truly resurrected.
Then, with Madara's strength at his peak, if they created a real Ten-Tails or a miniature one for him to merge with, he would very likely break straight through to Six Paths level.
Only then would they have the beginnings of the strength needed to challenge the Sage of Six Paths.
The pressure would ease a little, too.

Xunjing considered it, then nodded. With a thought, he made a slight adjustment to Hashirama's Contract Rune, allowing him to reveal information about the Otsutsuki Clan to Madara Uchiha and Tobirama Senju.
Tsunade tossed the two tubes into Xunjing's hands. "Here!"
Xunjing caught them, glanced at them, then looked up at her. "Tsk, you really don't
