The giant beat the wings on its back, carrying the ship straight into the sky. In the blink of an eye, it vanished into the distance.
"He... he was still hiding a move like that?"
Aokiji stared, dumbfounded. "If he'd used that in our earlier fight, I'd probably have gone down ages ago."
He caught his breath, then added, "He wasn't bluffing, though. If he really wanted to leave, we couldn't stop him."
"Good grief!" Garp scratched his head. "Now that's trouble! Catching them is going to be a nightmare."
Even if they sent several more Admiral Level fighters, there was nothing they could do against someone who could both fight and fly.
"Hahahaha!" Garp laughed loudly. "I really didn't see that one coming."
There was a meaningful glint in his eyes. "Looks like Sengoku and Fleet Admiral Steel Bone have some headaches coming."
Then Garp looked down at Aokiji, who was still lying on the ground, and held out a hand. "What are you still lounging around for? Get up! It's time we headed back to report."
"Ah, these old bones of mine. I'd been hoping to stop by the East Blue and see my poor grandson."
"But it looks like duty comes first. We'd better take the information on the Uchiha Pirates back and let Fleet Admiral Steel Bone and the others decide what to do."
"What a miserable life I lead!"
"Aokiji, you young brat, you lot need to hurry up and grow stronger. Take some of the load off us."
Aokiji rolled his eyes. "Garp-san, that's going too far! You're not old at all. You're still in your prime."
"As for me? I've still got a long way to go! I need to work harder."
He couldn't let a teenager actually outclass him, could he?
