"I can lock onto any point in time within five seconds or any spatial coordinate within my field of vision, then return to my original position when it ends. But the cost is enormous. Each use consumes four points of Dragon Ball Energy, so right now I can only use it four times."
"That ability... is downright cheating." Fayan Luo ground his teeth, resentment written all over his face.
Just then, Little Bird's voice broke the standoff between them. Light shimmered at her fingertips as she manipulated the two exceptionally tough Phantom blades. Through Atomic Reassembly, the black-green metal rapidly took shape.
"Since their twin blades are so troublesome, I'll give you another present."
As she moved, the mass of black-green material stretched and transformed, finally becoming a heavy, oddly shaped wrist guard. Little Bird fitted it onto Xun Uchiha's left arm, where it meshed perfectly with his existing Super-Kong Alloy Gauntlets.
"This wrist guard can unfold instantly into a shield as tall as a person," she explained, confidence gleaming in her eyes. "It can withstand the lethal attacks of the Phantom Twin Blades and keep you safe."
The metal wristband trembled violently against Xun Uchiha's palm, then awakened as though alive. Layer upon layer of nano-armor plates multiplied and extended furiously, constructing an enormous shield several meters tall in an instant. This was no cold slab of metal, but a white dove with the aura of a storm frozen into its form-its shell shimmered with an icy laser glaze, while its interior was as deep as a dark-green abyss. Every line brimmed with tension and wildness. Its hawklike eyes glinted with bloodthirsty coldness, and its oppressive presence surged like a tide, concealing Xun Uchiha entirely beneath its wings. Yet the little baby
