He swept a suspicious gaze over Xun Uchiha and his two companions, a glimmer of murderous intent surfacing in his eyes. He paused, his voice turning bone-chillingly cold. "Each of you has one?"
A clear, pale yellow glow abruptly rose from Xun Uchiha's palm. The Energy Crystal Ball representing the laws of time floated quietly between his fingers, a swirl of milky light at its core interweaving with the golden halo around it. It radiated an ancient, tranquil presence. His gaze blazed as he stared straight ahead, his voice icy. "All three balls are in our hands. If you want the energy source, come after us. Harm innocent civilians again, and you'll face the consequences."
The pupils of the leader in sunglasses contracted sharply. At the sight of the second Dragon Ball, his breathing instantly grew heavy, and uncontrollable greed and elation erupted in his eyes. "Three... three! You actually have all of them!"
But a moment later, golden light flashed, and the Time Dragon Ball vanished again. Xun Uchiha's tone grew grimmer. "Also, Angelina isn't here."
"A misunderstanding! It's all a misunderstanding!" The man in sunglasses shook violently, his arrogance instantly giving way to terror. He apologized repeatedly, his hands trembling so badly he could barely hold the reins. Wheeling his horse around, he fled with his men, their chaotic hoofbeats fading into the dust.
Once the riders had disappeared into the distance, Xun Uchiha and his two companions turned and headed back to the cellar entrance. The sight before them seemed to freeze the air-Angelina stood rigid at the edge of
