"Ignorance breeds fearlessness." Snakebelly snorted, his aura surging. "You think destroying this one site means you've won? My factories are scattered all across West Asia. Ten thousand armored vehicles are a drop in the ocean to us. An endless supply of War Machines, rocket launchers, fighter aircraft-we can build as many as we want. Even a hundred thousand or a million vehicles would be nothing but expendables."
He paused, his voice brimming with almost arrogant confidence. "Besides, conventional armored vehicles aren't our trump card. What truly makes cities tremble are the Mobile Fortresses, Flying Fortresses, and those hundred-meter-tall Giant Mechs. At the Dark Snake King's command, any one of them could easily wipe a civilized city off the map."
At those words, the expressions of the three hovering in the air changed sharply, and an involuntary chill rose within them.
A piercing screech of grinding metal suddenly erupted in midair. At some point, the massive beast called Snakebelly had finished upgrading his armaments. Heavy Mechanical Exoskeletons encased both his arms, and two Gatling-style heavy machine guns protruded like venomous scorpion stingers. Amid the high-pitched whine of motors, the barrels spun wildly. A scorching hail of bullets tore through the air, forming a deadly web of fire that poured toward Fayan Luo overhead.
Fayan Luo's gaze turned icy. His fingertips quivered, and a Nanoshield instantly took shape. Countless tiny nanounits surged into the wind, weaving an invisible net in the air. Every incoming round was precisely intercepted and knocked away. Metal fragments scattered and fell like rain, sealing off that patch of sky completely.
Seeing his ranged firepower fail, Snakebelly let out an inhuman roar and fixed his gaze on a heavy armored vehicle burning fiercely on the ground. He strode forward and clamped both hands onto the edges of
