Deep within the ruins, a dark, damp cellar reeked of mildew.
Xun Uchiha and Little Bird slipped inside silently. The moment they entered the safe area, Samu hurried over, his eyes bloodshot with anxiety.
"Outside... have those monsters withdrawn?" Samu's voice trembled as he clutched Xun Uchiha's sleeve.
Xun Uchiha took a deep breath and surveyed the shaken survivors around them. "Don't worry," he said gravely. "Little Bird took action. Not only were their frontline positions wiped out, but the Underground Arms Factory was completely destroyed as well."
"What?!" Samu's face turned deathly pale, and he swayed on his feet. His voice warped with terror. "With the arms factory gone, won't they... won't they send even more aerial support to bomb this place? How are we supposed to stop them?"
Samu looked ashen, his eyes filled with panic. He stared fixedly at Xun Uchiha and the mysterious figure beside him, his voice shaking uncontrollably.
