"What are you looking at?" Primordial Source stepped forward.
Lin Ye raised a hand and pointed into the distance.
There, the edge of New Home was fading—not in color, not in shape, but in its very sense of existence.
Primordial Source's expression changed drastically. He crossed to the edge in a single step and raised his hand to touch that stretch of Void.
His palm passed through it.
When he withdrew it, the Runes in his palm had blurred.
"Ruins of Return." His voice was hoarse. "Primordial Fear is 'fear of existence.' But the Ruins of Return is the 'Absolute Void' before existence ever appeared."
He looked at his blurred palm. "It does not seek to erase existence. It seeks to make everything 'have never existed.' Even erasure itself will be erased by it."
"Where is it?"
"Everywhere." Primordial Source pointed at the expanding faded region. "It slept at the edge of the universe for endless epochs. Now it has awakened. It is feeding."
Lin Ye turned around.
Behind him, thirty-seven billion civilizations were rebuilding, laughing, celebrating their rebirth.

He withdrew his gaze. The three hundred seventy million stars on his cloak lit up at once.

Streams of light gathered, and Xuxi's Void Shadow appeared. "The Ruins of Return's rate of consumption is increasing exponentially. In three thousand seven hundred standard hours, the New Era Network will be affected. In thirty-seven thousand standard hours, the edges of the entire known universe will 'fade.'"
"How do we stop it?"
"There is no way. It is not an enemy. It is 'nothingness' itself. Any attack will become 'never happened' the instant it
