Definition Mother's Interior

"Attention, all forces!" Her voice exploded through everyone's Definition System. "We enter the Death Starway in ten seconds. Maintain speed. Do not stop! Anyone who dares stop, I'll throw them out!"

The weavers of the Chromaglass Civilization compressed 69,997 colors into a skin-tight protective film. The Iron Curtain Warriors shrank the Chains of Order into their bodies as a final line of defense. All 3.7 billion lingering obsessions on the Primordial Source cloak lit up, each one using its own way to "remember" this moment. If anyone vanished, at least they would know that person's name.

Myriad Faces closed its eyes.

Three million miniature mirror doubles split from its main body at once. Each was no larger than a fingernail, and each carried a star gifted by Lin Ye. They arranged themselves into a winding ribbon of light in the Void, stretching from beneath the expeditionary force's feet toward the Definition Mother.

The first double touched a definition fragment.

The fragment erupted in fury, unleashing an "undefined" shockwave. The star on the double flashed for an instant, absorbing, transforming, and dispersing the impact. The double remained completely unharmed.

Myriad Faces' voice rang out from every double at once. "The passage is stable. Move out."

Harmonic Leaptone was the first to charge forward. Her fortyfold harmonics extended along the passage, marking the way for the troops behind her. The Chromaglass weavers followed close behind, spreading colors across both sides of the passage to form a rainbow corridor. The Iron Curtain Warriors formed the third echelon, their Chains of Order creating a second layer of protection outside the passage.

Lin Ye walked at the rear. His multicolored pupils stared at the definition fragments reflected away on either side of the passage—countless abandoned definitions screamed silently in the darkness, like forsaken children crying
