Lin Ye sat at the head of the table, silently watching everyone below.
Suddenly, a member named Rogers stood up.
"I have a suggestion..." he said, sounding slightly nervous.
"Since the World Government has introduced the Seven Warlords Plan..."
"Why not have some of our members join them?"
"That way, we can obtain intelligence from within."
The moment he said this, the entire meeting room erupted.
"Are you kidding?!"
"You're insulting the Alliance!"
"How could we possibly bow to the World Government?!"
Yet Rogers remained unfazed. "This is only a temporary measure."
"What's wrong with doing it for intelligence?"
Just as the argument was about to reach a fever pitch.
Lin Ye suddenly spoke. "Rogers has a point."
"However..." His sharp gaze turned toward Rogers.
"Who do you think would be the most suitable candidates?"
Rogers froze for a moment, then said, "I think Chris, Marcus, and Raine would all be good choices."
Lin Ye nodded slightly, seeming deep in thought.
"Alright. I'll consider it."
"Meeting adjourned."
After everyone left.
Whitebeard walked over to Lin Ye. "Kid, you noticed it too, didn't you?"
Lin Ye nodded. "That Rogers..."
"The three people he mentioned are all suspicious."
Indeed.
Chris, Marcus, and Raine had all been acting strangely lately.
Especially before and after important meetings, they were always sneaking around, doing who knew what.

"I found that Rogers often enters confidential areas."
"And always late at night."
Lin Ye's eyes narrowed. "Looks like the World Government planted quite a few spies within us."

"Lin Ye, I've made an important discovery."
"My intelligence network found someone secretly passing along the Alliance's internal information."
"They're using a communication method unique to the World Government."
