A golden-red flaming shockwave swept across the battlefield, instantly blasting away every enemy in its path. Even more astonishingly, the flames seemed capable of directly negating the Voidbringer's effects, remaining at full strength within its range.
"Impossible! This can't be possible!" the Science Force captain cried in terror.
Ace ignored him, locking his gaze on the distant Voidbringer control center. "I'm ending this!"
Like a golden-red meteor, he charged toward the central base with unstoppable force. The guards along the way tried to stop him, but every one of them was effortlessly defeated by this unprecedented power. Each of Ace's steps was firm and powerful, while the golden light in his eyes grew brighter.
At last, he broke through the final line of defense and stood before the Voidbringer control center.
"Shatter!" Ace threw a punch with all his strength.
Golden-red flames poured down like molten lava, completely destroying the core apparatus of the control center. With an earsplitting explosion, the Voidbringer's energy field began to collapse.
However, the instant the device was destroyed, a bizarre Energy Fluctuation spread outward from the center of the explosion. It was no ordinary Shockwave, but an energy release that distorted the laws of nature.
"Not good!" Ace sensed the danger, but it was already too late to retreat.
The Energy Fluctuation touched the sea, triggering an abnormal transformation. As though answering some kind of summons, the seawater began to churn violently. Within mere minutes, an unprecedented giant tsunami had formed.
"Everyone, evacuate the island immediately!" Ace gave the urgent order.
