Even more astonishing, the entire island was shrouded by a pale blue, translucent energy barrier. It was as soft as a veil yet utterly indestructible, completely isolating the island from the outside world.
"What is that?" Sabo asked, pointing at the faintly shimmering barrier.
"The Moon Shadow Barrier." Hirwa carefully slowed the craft, his tone filled with reverence. "The Ancient Kingdom's highest-level defensive system. It is said to withstand any known attack. Only those who receive recognition can pass through it."
"How do we gain recognition?" Ace frowned at the seemingly impenetrable energy barrier.
Hirwa turned to Lin Ye. "We need a key, as well as the Ancient Kingdom's writing. The Dawn Blade is the key, while Robin's research can provide the written portion."
Lin Ye nodded and drew the Dawn Blade. As the blade neared the barrier, its golden glow grew even stronger. Robin understood her task as well and quickly opened her notebook to the page containing the ancient text.
"Should I recite this passage?" Robin asked Hirwa.
"Yes. According to the ancient records, the resonance between the key and the words will open a passage." Hirwa stopped the Cloud-Clearing Ship just a few meters from the barrier. "Now, Lin Ye, raise the Dawn Blade. Robin, recite the text."
Lin Ye pointed the blade at the barrier while Robin began fluently reciting the ancient words. "In the name of dawn, by the oath of truth, with the will of freedom, open Truth's Door..."
At the point of contact, the barrier began to ripple, gradually forming a small passage just large enough for the Cloud-Clearing Ship to pass through.
"It worked!" Hirwa said happily, skillfully steering the craft through the passage. The opening quickly closed behind them, as though it had never been opened.
The Cloud-Clearing Ship passed safely
