In the end, the surviving sages had paid some tremendous price to create a "Sealing System," temporarily sealing off the Void Power.
"Seven keys," Vivi softly read from the ancient text. "They represent the seven forces that balance the world: time, space, stability, connection, spectrum, defense, and flame. Only by gathering every key can the Gate of Void be permanently sealed."
She suddenly stopped, noticing an especially old parchment with badly damaged edges. Vivi carefully unfolded it and found a complex design drawn upon it—a strangely shaped key surrounded by rainbow-like radiance.
"The Spectrum Key," King Cobra recognized the design in surprise. "According to this record, it has been guarded by the royal family for generations and hidden within Alabasta's oldest underground temple—the Sun Temple!"
Vivi eagerly translated the ancient words. "'The key of spectrum connects reality and illusion, balancing yin and yang. Only a hand of justice may wield it; otherwise, destruction shall befall the key's bearer.' Father, the key may be within our territory!"
Just as they delved deeper into their research, the library doors were violently shoved open. Three figures in black suits and white masks rushed inside like lightning—they were members of CP0, the World Government's most elite intelligence organization.
"Hand over those documents," the lead agent ordered coldly. "This is a direct command from the Five Elders."
King Cobra stepped forward, shielding Vivi behind him. "These are Alabasta's national heritage. They have nothing to do with the World Government."
