The largest gas giant in the Solar System was carrying out an unprecedented act of creation.
Above Jupiter's south pole, three spherical pods ten meters in diameter slowly took shape. These pods had been condensed directly by Jupiter's consciousness. Their surfaces emitted a gentle blue glow, while their internal structures were too complex for human understanding.
"Can this really work?" Ace asked Jupiter through their mental link.
"Trust me, warrior of Earth." Jupiter's reply brimmed with confidence. "I have existed for 4.5 billion years and witnessed the birth of the Solar System. I developed this Life Pod technology over those long years."
The insides of the pods were not hollow, but filled with some kind of semi-solid energy matter. It could perfectly conform to the passengers' bodies, providing life support while withstanding the immense pressure of faster-than-light travel.
At Watchers Alliance headquarters, Jinbe was making the final arrangements.
"Luffy, are you sure about this?" Jinbe asked through the communicator. "The risk is just too great."
Luffy's voice came from the communicator. "Jinbe, Lin Ye was willing to give up his life to protect everyone. We're only merging our consciousnesses. It's nothing."
"And time isn't waiting for us," Zoro added. "Pluto's situation is getting more dangerous by the moment. We have to get there as soon as possible."
Ace also stated his position. "I've already spoken with Jupiter. It will protect our consciousnesses from being completely assimilated. There are risks, but the success rate is high."
Jinbe sighed. "Then you must be careful. I'll coordinate things on Earth and make sure you have nothing to worry about behind you."
