"Don't pay attention to what they're saying!" Lin Ye shouted. "Focus on our own objective."
But the Chaos Behemoths' attacks were not merely verbal. Their very existence was a living logical paradox. Even if the three of them ignored their words, visual contact alone affected them.
Asteria felt the Libra Mark beginning to destabilize. Her ability to maintain balance faltered in the face of such intense contradictions.
Leo's leadership was also impacted. When confronted with the concept of "orderly chaos," the authority of Leo was called into question.
Lin Ye's free will was under even greater pressure. The concept of the Void of Existence directly challenged the foundation of free choice.
"We need to change our strategy." Lin Ye forced himself to remain calm. "Since expressing our concepts too strongly draws more enemies, we'll take a subtler approach."
"A subtler approach?" Asteria asked doubtfully.
"Don't fight these negative concepts. Guide them cleverly instead." Lin Ye's thoughts gradually cleared. "Make them cancel each other out, while we look for a chance to pass through amid the chaos."
Leo understood the strategy. "Flow like water instead of crashing head-on like a rock."
"Exactly." Asteria's Libra Mark stabilized once more. "We don't need to defeat every enemy. We only need to reach the core."
With their new tactic, the three moved like a stream through the gaps in the Concept Legion's attacks. They no longer confronted their enemies directly, instead using the conflicts between negative concepts to carve out a path.
When the Despair Legion encountered the Hatred Cavalry Corps, the two negative emotions began canceling each other out. Despair robbed hatred of its drive, while hatred made despair turn aggressive.
When the Fear Flight Squadron attempted to attack the Chaos Behemoths, the certainty of fear clashed conceptually with the uncertainty of chaos.
