The torrent of memories shared by the collective of Ancient Era Remnant Coalition was an immersive civilization end-stage experience.
Lin Ye and his allies' consciousnesses were instantly dragged into the twilights of countless civilizations.
The first fragment:
The "Resonant Star Sea" Alliance, composed of hundreds of civilizations that advocated communication and cooperation. They established a consensus decision-making and resource-recycling network, which prospered for a time. However, after the membership grew, decision-making efficiency plummeted, and "free-riding" and "apathy toward the public interest" appeared. When a hyperspace storm disaster struck, due to arguments over responsibility and aid plans, their response was sluggish, peripheral members were exterminated on a massive scale, the chain of trust ruptured, and the alliance disintegrated amid recriminations. The memory froze on unfinished proposals and cold data in the abandoned decision-making hall.

However, the regulatory system became increasingly bloated and complex, with the "balancer" class detaching from the populace and suppressing innovation and dissenting voices to maintain "balance". The civilization turned into a machine that was glamorous on the outside but dead on the inside, and ultimately lost its adaptability and slowly perished before external rule changes. The memory ended with the bewildered and helpless gaze of the last balancer.

They fell to the selfishness and short-sightedness of human nature, to systemic rigidity and alienation, to external pressure, and to the gap between ideals and reality.
The memories carried intense emotions of failure—disappointment, disillusionment, doubt, and exhaustion. Like a cold tide, they washed away the radiance
